Touch the Earth Yoga - Peace for the Body, Mind & Spirit

Take the time to refine your yoga practice by getting back to basics.  We will cover poses such as Downward Dog, Warriors, Triangle, Cobra, Plank, Tree, Standing Forward Bend.  This class will run in workshop style, exploring specific postures with alignment, props, modifications and variations.  Bring your questions!  Class will end with an unwinding sequence and deep relaxation.

A balanced practice with calming mindfulness meditation, energizing Sun Salutations, and restorative poses for rest and reflection.  Calm the mind, awaken and energize the body, and reflect on the abundance of blessings in your life.  Focus on strengthening your body, opening your heart center, and letting go to be receptive to the benefits of total relaxation

Deeply relax the body through Restorative Yoga. All poses are mat based and gently supported by yoga props. Mindfully breathing in each pose for several minutes allows your body to relax and release deep held tension in the body, and the mind to move toward stillness. This form of yoga promotes a deeply restful state in body and mind.



A balanced practice with mindful, slow-flowing Sun Salutations to build heat and strength, and restorative poses for rest and reflection. Awaken the body and calm the mind. Focus on strengthening your body and letting go to be receptive to the benefits of total relaxation.

Minimum participants: 4. Therefore, pre-registration is required. Please call 978-665-5800 to sign up.

Location: Simonds-Hurd Complementary Care Center, 275 Nichols Road, Fitchburg MA.
